**Descripción**

The Engineering Manager of Gurit Falces is responsible for deploying the right manufacturing processes of our products (wind blade kits), and compliant to customer specifications, on time, at the right cost and the required quality levels.

**Responsabilidades principales**

Lead the Engineering Department in Gurit Falces. Technical Contact person between the site and the global counterparts.
NPI (New Product Introduction): Lead the manufacturing process definition of new Wind Turbine Blade kit models.
Product Lifecycle - Change Management: Lead the implementation of process changes during product Lifecycle (both customer and/or internal cost down programs)
Pursue Operational Excellence using a structured continuous improvement approach (Lean Six Sigma, PDCA) with data-based decision making to challenge traditional belief
Promote the Safety-First culture in all activities related to process and product engineering roles by facilitating and engaging with Risk Assessments, Risk Observations and Operational Safety Audits & Safety Walks.
Identify performance gaps in production and corrective actions required to bridge gap
Keep up to date with current and developing trends in the manufacturing industry by visiting appropriate trade shows and reviewing literature
Responsible for implementing and controlling the cost-effective capital expenditure projects using a structured approach to project management.
Provide front-line technical support and guidance to Operations and technical peers within the organisation using data-driven structured methodologies
Manage local MasterData in ERP system (D365) regarding production items.
Manage, Lead and Coach the process engineering team.
Facilitate and coach others in problem solving / Root Cause Analysis using established techniques such as 5 Whys, brainstorming, Pareto Analysis, DMAIC, 8D, Process Mapping etc.

**Competencias y experiência**

Proficient in continuous improvement tools: Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, APQP4Wind
Data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP/MES systems).
Hands on approach to problem solving
While not essential, familiarity with composite manufacturing processes would be beneficial in this role.
Fluent in English and Spanish. Experience Requirements:
Education: Degree in Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
