We do that through 3 verticals: Groceries with Partners, Groceries with our own Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFCs), and Retail Shops. As part of the **MFCs Vertical **team, the Strategic Vendor Manager is a new position in our structure: as our business expand, supporting local teams in effectively selecting and managing Vendor will be key to guarantee we have the right assortment at competitive prices. Related Positions: Project Manager, Retail Category Manager, Key Account Manager, Category Analyst, Senior Buyer. **Be a part of a team where you will**: - Being the Owner of the Gross Margin KPI, seeing the impact of your work directly reflected on the business P&L - You will be responsible to shape the frameworks/levers to optimize the supplier base and improve the commercial terms with our existing suppliers - Work closely with the local teams, in implementing these levers, enabling them to achieve the gross margin targets you will set - Assessing the opportunity of negotiating deals with main CPGs on Regional or Global levels - You will lead strategic projects around supplier management and work closely with the HQ Supply Chain, Assortment and Pricing/Promotions teams **You have**: - Very strong negotiation skills - 5+ years of experience in category management in a Retail company, as an account manager in CPG or in Consulting projects related to retail - Excellent problem solving skills and are used to deliver quick and efficient solutions - including the ability to step-in for the "analyst's part of the job" - Great communication and stakeholder management skills and are able to act as consultant to senior stakeholders across different functions and locations - Strong business understanding and are able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of uncertainty - You are an advanced Google Suite and MS Office user **Experience our Glovo Life benefits**: - Enticing equity plan (if applicable)- Top-notch private health insurance- Monthly Glovo credit to spend on our restaurant products and zero delivery fee on all Glovo orders- Discounted gym memberships- Flexible time off, 2 days a week working from home and up to 3 weeks a year working from abroad- Enhanced parental leave including nursery support- Online therapy and wellbeing benefit **What you'll find when working at Glovo**: - Gas: Driven to deliver quality results quickly- Good Vibes: Bring positivity and communicate openly- Stay Humble: Self-aware and open to learning- Care: Uplift people and the planet- Glownership: Act as proud owners- High Bar: Focus on Top Performance
