**FUNCTIONS**: Our client is a Global leading solutions provider for Beauty, Personal Care, and Home Care markets. We are looking for a talented and pragmatic Innovation Project Manager to be part of a dynamic Innovation Hub located in Barcelona. The Innovation Project Manager as a key member of the Innovation Department is responsible for: - Identify business, market, and users’ needs - Lead the generation of concept directions to solve the identified needs - Support Sales department in project and new business development meetings with clients
Responsabilities: - Identify strategic new product opportunities in FMCG industry. - Translate business, market and user needs, into new product proposals. - Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects’ sponsorship. - Manage external innovation providers (innovation consultancies). - Support Sales department in new business development activities. - Team up with technical managers to monitor project progress and guarantee the alignment with the business goals. - Prepare client presentations, able to communicate the key benefits and features of the proposals. Requirements: - Degree or above in Marketing, Design or Business-related fields. - +8 years of experience working within service innovation, product design innovation, or marketing areas in FMCG or related field, ideally with international background. - Languages: excellent command of the English language is essential. - EU Citizenship or permanent residency required. Key competencies - Strong skills in client relationship development. - Strong skills in influence management. - Proven experience in strategic planning and innovation projects management. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong creative and problem-solving skills. - Strong skills as a workshop / co-creation facilitator and planner. - Awareness of current trends. - Business-oriented mindset. - Understanding of user-centered design process and lean methodologies. - Work under tight deadline pressure and adapt quickly and amicably to changes in project,scope and schedule. - Self-motivated: pursues knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement opportunities. - Strong hands-on approach. - Team player.
