At Barcelona-Home we have a variety of different areas of work that interns can choose from. The intern will have different roles and responsibilities within the company depending on the interns personal skills, studies and knowledge in the field. The company helps people coming to Barcelona find the right accommodation while also providing the best knowledge of Barcelona. Barcelona-home consists of a blog which the intern will help modify. The internship has different departments allowing the intern to navigate the different areas in the company. The intern will be undertaking media-related tasks for the company such as helping design content for the site and social networks. There is also an opportunity to take part in photography at our company Capture Models where you could either become a photographer or editor. We look for interns who are interested in learning new things and are hands on with the work that they are given, we are looking for a friend not a co-worker. The different areas of work that we offer are Marketing, PR, Advertising, Human Resources, Operations, Social Media, Motorsports. The ideal intern for us shows confidence who thrives to communicate with others and share opinions while dealing with projects and other tasks carried out in the company. They will be driven, good at decision making, multitasking and communicating, alongside a positive attitude.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Draft and edit blog for the company
- Handle the company’s social media such as their Instagram
- Updating the company’s Google my business, such as answering reviews and posting new pictures
- Stay up to date with social media trends, attracting new customers
- Taking photographs to advertise Barcelona itself and the accommodation that we have to offer
- Engage on conversations in order to advertise the business
- Help accommodate the people that move into our apartments
- Dealing with check in’s and check outs
- Recommendations on how to further improve the business
- Engaging in activities such as motorsport if they wish

**Requirements**:

- Experience with the use of social media
- Familiarity with editing picture to fit the company’s social media aesthetic
- Pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Marketing, Social Relations, HR, Media, Journalism, Communications, Business
- English is needed, Spanish is appreciated

Barcelona-home is looking for someone who can add value to the company, someone who can help the company improve. It is a flexible internship where team work and communication is very important therefore having an intern who the company can trust and engage in conversation with is very important.
