**Role Overview**
As a** KYC Team Leader**, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of KYC analysts, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. You will play a critical role in managing the KYC process and driving the team's performance to achieve operational excellence. Also, you will be responsible for the team members’ career development and professional growth.

Your mission:

- ** Team Leadership and Management.** Lead and manage a large team of KYC analysts, offering guidance, coaching, and support to drive the team's success.
- ** Performance Monitoring and Feedback. **Monitor team performance, providing feedback in regular 1:1s to improve skills and maximize potential.
- ** Task and Resource Organization. **Organize tasks and resources based on needs, including consumer KYC, screening (PEPs, Adverse media, Sanctions), and limited Customer Care activities.
- ** Cross-Team Collaboration.** Liaise with the Fincrime team in Luxembourg for escalating relevant cases, and collaborate with the IT team in Milan to implement and improve KYC controls and processes.
- ** Process Improvement.** Identify process improvement opportunities and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Your ideal profile:

- ** Team Leadership Experience.** 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- ** Interpersonal and Communication Skills.** Excellent ability to interact effectively with team members and individuals at all levels of the company.
- ** Organizational and Time Management.** Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- ** KYC Analyst Experience.** Proven background as a KYC analyst with a solid understanding of KYC/AML regulations and processes.
- ** AML/AFC Qualification.** AML/AFC qualification from ACAMS, ICA, or a similar industry body is a plus.
- ** Language Proficiency.** Proficiency in both English and Italian.
