The Role
Due to continued growth we are recruiting a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Madrid You will be joining an international team of Desktop Support Technicians and will have responsibility for all aspects of provisioning installing configuring troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software for the Frontiers team.
No two days are the same you will need to be dynamic proactive and customer focused in your approach to your work. Duties will include
Providing 1st and 2nd Level IT Support to all internal stakeholders as required.
All tasks associated with new starters including configuring laptops installing software granting access desk setup and delivering IT Inductions.
Participating in projects and working groups encouraging collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
Our office is based in Madrid it is expected you will need to be in the office 2/3 days a week with working from home an option for the remainder of the week. The role reports to one of our IT Services Team Leads.
**Requirements**:
About you
- You have experience of providing level 1 and 2 technical support and using IT support ticket management systems (nice to have but not mandatory Zendesk JIRA).
- You have experience and knowledge of installation configuration and troubleshooting of Windows and MacOS laptops.
- You are flexible solution focused and adept at trouble shooting complex issues.
- You have experience in the creation of documentation and procedure (nice to have)
- You are invested in your personal development with a willingness to learn grow and share new skills and knowledge with the team.
