Junior Treasury Manager

As part of the treasury and payment factory team, you would be responsible for processing outgoing payments through FREE NOW bank accounts in 10 different countries in Europe.
- You are responsible for all payments and connected activities, including processing payments, troubleshooting and statistical analysis and reports.
- You also work on a day to day basis with our TMS (Treasury management system) in order to process payments, generate reports related to cash balances, bank statments and etc.
- You work on the additional activities covered by the treasury team such as administrative tasks (AML, KYC, banking sanctions, FCA), preparation of short term cash flow forecasts and issuance of bank guarantees.
- Last but not least, you support any other ad hoc need related to the day to day treasury operational activities.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Process and monitor all outgoing payments (input, processing, correction, reporting, conciliation, etc.) including local, international, urgent, FX payments.
- Process direct debit collections of regular, fixed and one-off payments.
- Ensure all outgoing payments and direct debit transactions have been processed in a timely manner on a daily basis, ensuring approvals and processes are within policy guidelines and standards.
- Ensure all payments have been distributed to authorisers and submitted before the relevant cut off times.
- Investigation and troubleshooting for transactions presenting issues.
- Maintain payment matrix authorization/approval rights set up in the treasury management system according to the policy guidelines and standards.
- Monitor the bank accounts for rejected payments, account balances and sufficient liquidity in order to proceed with the outgoing payments process.
- Acts as a point of contact between the bank and FREE NOW with regards to payments monitoring (processed, rejected, follow-ups).
- Monitor the treasury management system during the day to identify any unusual activity on the accounts which can be rectified and investigated as early as possible.
- Support the treasury team with ad hoc requests, projects or routine duties in connection with the outgoing payments process.
- Assist, and in some cases lead in the review and development of processes, procedures and systems linked to the outgoing payment process.
- Participate actively in the implementation of a treasury management system.
- Perform statistical analysis on outgoing payments and generate reports.
- Work on the additional activities covered by the treasury team such as administrative tasks (AML, KYC, banking sanctions, FCA)
- Assist with the preparation of short term cash flow forecasts and issuance of bank guarantees.
- Complete any other ad hoc duties related to the day to day treasury activities.

- Knowledge of banking environment and its correlations with the payment processes.
- Professional Excel

**Languages**:English is mandatory, German and Spanish are desirable. Other languages are welcome.
