We´re looking for a Senior Food Technician based in Madrid in order to work in multidisciplinary projects to enhance food safety, quality, profitability and other related matters.
Functionalities:
- Monitors sensory, physical, chemical, and microbiological quality criteria in poultry based food items, taking into account specific standards defined by retail/QSR client and applicable regulations from country of origin and country of use.
- Records data and results into systems, and generates appropriate reports
- Monitors sensory, physical, chemical, and microbiological quality criteria in other product categories, considering specific standards defined by retail/QSR client and applicable regulations from country of origin and country of use.
- Performs initial food products validation to assess compliance of manufactured product against defined specification, and evaluates products performance according to client’s requirements
- Creates poultry products guides focused on sensory and physical standards of food products, for both fresh and processed product items
- Detection of non-conformities in tested products and communication with suppliers to identify root causes and corrective actions
**Requisitos**:
- BSc or MSc in Food science, Chemistry, Biologic Science, Veterinary Science, Nutrition or any related Life Science field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in chicken products manufacturing process and/or new product development and/or foodservice poultry sensory and laboratory assessment.
- High English level, CAE (C1) minimum required. Minimum 6 months experience - studying or working - in foreign speaking countries
- Expected travelling 50 % of the time. Trips throughout EMEA region
