**Your Role and Responsibilities**
A Data Engineer in Kyndryl's Advisory and Implementation Services line provide advisory&development skills and technology expertise to design, build and modernize Data&AI platforms and pipeline architectures.
Provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) capabilities in any Data&AI related initiative is a must in the rol.
This position is for senior profiles with direct and strong experience in Data Services Platforms, the key responsibilities are:
- Design & Develop Data&AI platforms
- Support on Data Architecture definition (DWH, DataLake, Realtime, etc)
- Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources
- Develop Data visualizations like Dashboards or Reports
- Work with software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling, machine learning algorithm deployment
- Technology benchmarking and tools recommendation and definition.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 2 or + years of experience in
**Data engineer Role**
- 2 + years of experience in **designing and developing Data platforms in cloud environments** (Azure or AWS or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of the entire Data management ecosystem (tools, processes, architectures, etc)
- Advanced knowledge and experience working with relational databases, NoSQL as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
- **Exceptional Knowledge of ETL, Persistence, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing**, Pub/Sub pipelines, and Data Quality engineering
- Strong knowledge in Overall Data Architecture and guiding principles, best practices, and patterns
- Proficiency in SQL and Phyton
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- BI tools deep Knowledge (specially PowerBI)
- Cloud Data Services Certifications are a plus
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- ML frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow, Spark, PyTorch or mlpack
- Experience in preparing and training Machine Learning models
- Analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and data protection
- Knowledge of other Data industry leading players like Cloudera, SnowFlake, Databriks or Collibra
- Strong experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, ADLA, Synapse, etc)
