Vendor Operations Manager

We're an inclusive and diverse workplace, and welcome applicants from marginalized groups - the world over. **The Role ‍**: We are looking for an Vendor Operations Manager to work with our partners supporting our employment infrastructure across the world. We have built out a global network of "Employers of Record" (EoRs) across the world and you will help to optimize our internal processes with these EoRs. You will be working in our Employment Vendor management Team within our Global Operations Team, who are responsible for setting up employment infrastructure across the world in a scalable and automated way. **What you'll be doing...**: - Design and implement our internal country-specific operational processes with EoRs that allow us to onboard a new team member that is as automated as possible - Work with our EoR partners to align their processes with Oyster's as much as possible - Lead cross-functional projects to identify opportunities and improve performance - Work with our EoR partners to ensure Oyster receives data about our team members that can be easily integrated into our platform or tools - Being Oyster's point of contact and interface for operational issues with our Employment Partners **What we're looking for...**: - Process guru - you love to build a good process and have experience building robust, easy-to-use processes for others - Experience with automation tools like Zendesk or Notion - you know your way around these tools and know how to build processes using these tools that can be used by others - Analytical and data driven when making decisions and optimizing processes - Project management skills, in particular ability to interact and collaborate with stakeholders from other departments - Great written communicator - you can explain a complicated process in simple steps so that people can understand them the 1st time round - Eye for detail - you notice the small things and always make sure all the "t"s are crossed and "i"s are dotted - BONUS - you have a basic understanding of people onboarding processes (from a People Ops perspective) **You'll also need...**: - A reliable home internet connection (or be able to get one) - Fluent English language **Working at Oyster ❤️**: Check out our public notion pages to find out more about what it's like to work at Oyster: - Welcome to Oyster - Mission, Vision, Values at Oyster - Why Oyster is a Distributed Company - How We Work Together at Oyster **Benefits & Compensation**: - Competitive compensation package - Fully flexible hours - 40 days of time off, including public holidays - Paid parental leave.
