**Learning Support Teacher (KS1&KS2), IEP Elian's British School, La Nucía**: We're keen to appoint a Learning Support teacher with plenty of energy to inspire our students in Key Stage 1&2. Elian's British School is a private school with a community of more than 50% international profile, located in a mountain setting in La Nucía. **What We're Looking For**: - Primary teacher with solid understanding of the British curriculum (PGCE/QTS). - Qualified and experienced in working with students with special educational needs or students requiring learning support. - Experience and skills in providing differentiated learning opportunities in order to support, meet and challenge the needs of all learners (essential). - Effective use of ICT to enhance learning and progress. - Flexibility to teach at Key Stage 1 or 2. - Engaging classroom communicator, with ideas for cross-curricular learning and "wow" moments. - Calm, kind, and firm approach to classroom management, so young learners feel secure. - Proficient speaker of English. - Good team player. - Able to successfully track student progress. - Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school. - Confident level of Spanish (not essential). **What We Offer**: - Happy, well-behaved students, who are willing to learn. - Friendly, supportive staff. - Small class sizes. - Beautiful campus on the popular Costa Blanca (Marina Baixa). - Continuing professional development, including optional Spanish classes on site. - Opportunities to develop your career at a Key Stage level — or beyond. - Year-round, permanent contract. - Minimum 6 weeks summer holiday. - Unlike the majority of schools in Spain, our terms usually include a half term holiday. - Tuition fees waived for your own children (if you have them), who are entitled to a place at our school. - Salary to be disclosed at interview. - Dedicated support of our Human Resources team to advise and support you through the administrative and personal arrangements necessary for a smooth transition. - Free lunches and refreshments during the day - Additional benefits, which we are happy to detail during the selection process.
