A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Service Desk team for a 1st Line Application Support Analyst who has proven customer service skills and a desire to develop within a technical support role.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills and previous experience of working in a customer service or IT support environment. As part of the Service Desk team you will provide technical support for Data Interchange’s bespoke Managed Service and Product Support Customers, our Cloud-Based Client Network (DiNet). The shift pattern covers our Service Desk hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm including bank holidays.
This is a great opportunity for those looking to develop their career in IT within a family run company that will provide excellent training and development opportunities.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to investigate issues in an analytical and methodical fashion
- Possess excellent communication skills and be able to clearly articulate themselves, both verbally and in writing
- Have a commitment to continued professional development
- You will have proven customer service experience.
- Have experience of working in an IT Support or Service/Application Support Role
- Knowledge of EDI would be advantageous
- Knowledge of different communication methods (OFTP, FTP, SFTP etc) would be advantageous
- Be a team player assisting others and work well under pressure
