Check the video What´s like to work in Softonic **About the position** The Head of Content is responsible to lead the content team and ensure the best setup and processes are put in place to reach the business goals. Reports to the Catalog & Traffic Director. He/she will be driving the **catalog and content strategies definition and execution **in order to fulfill Softonic’s needs. **Key responsibilities** - Industry competitive intelligence surveillance to identify the latest trends and feed into the catalog and content strategy. - Refine catalog and content strategy for Softonic in alignment with the company's overall strategy. - Unify strategy and standards for editorial and catalog teams, providing a distinctive and compelling story for Softonic content area. - Management of catalog & content projects. This includes the definition, set-up, and monitoring of KPIs, OKRs and success criteria, and the alignment amongst all internal and external stakeholders and the process definition to ensure high-quality output. - Measure, manage, optimize and communicate the performance of the content initiatives - Work closely with SEO, Paid Marketing and Affiliate teams to ensure main content creation needs are covered with the right strategic approach. - Ensure high quality standards are met in both catalog and editorial content areas,, driving the team towards high performance. - Identify opportunities beyond traditional written content (such as Video, image, stories, etc.) - Own the content roadmap and budget, being able to identify and align on resources needed **REQUIREMENTS** **Minimum Experience and qualifications** - 5+ years of experience managing content teams. - Expertise managing editorial content and catalog/transactional content. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Experience working on digital editorial media - Experience managing content teams (in-house and freelancers) - Strong SEO profile - Ideally coming from media groups - Ideally with a technology/gaming background & content affiliate knowledge - Goal Oriented and experience setting OKRs and KPIs. - Good knowledge of the market and with a good network - High level of English (ideally native). - Coming from tech, gaming or innovation related areas is a plus **About the Department**: Within the Catalog (Content, marketing and SEO) team where you would work with Senior and passionate people where you can always find the possibility to learn new things.
