**Eurovision Technology Hub is looking for a Presales Manager to join the Eurovision Services (ES) Global Sales & Marketing team at our technology hub in Madrid, Spain.**
**ABOUT EUROVISION SERVICES**
Eurovision Services (ES) is the premier service provider of news, sports and cultural content for the world's top broadcast and media platforms. The Eurovision Services Global Sales & Marketing Department role is to present, promote and sell Eurovision portfolio of services to existing and prospective customers; establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationship, and reach out to customer leads.
The Presales team is the central point for processing sales opportunities and the bridge between sales team and operations teams. They are responsible together with the E&T team of building solutions architecture for events, both standard and major. Their role is to capture client and service requirements. They provide a centre of technical expertise while designing solutions based on client demands and Eurovision’s technological expertise.
The Presales Manager designs solutions that answer customer’s need and are within Eurovision delivering structure. They prepare the offer documentation and factually and accurately presents the technical offer and answers all questions related to that solution. They assess the costs related to each solution and participates in choosing the elements to include in it. Once an opportunity is won, the Presales ensures proper handover to the PMO team to prepare them for the client engagement and implementation by sharing knowledge gained about customer’s needs, requirements and risk profile.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION**
In this role as a Presales Manager you will:
- Work with the sales team to qualify customers and assess their needs
- Be the technical contact of the customer during the presales phase
- Act as an expert for the solutions in Eurovision’s portfolio in front of customers
- Be aware and familiar with latest technologies and solutions in order to suggest them to the Sales Manager or the client
- Evaluate business requirements and creates solutions based on off the shelf but also customized products
- Bid management during RFP/RFI answering
- Work with the E&T Engineer on solutions’ architectures to answer customers’ needs
- Find the right products and solutions to build those solutions
- Work with the procurement team to identify and find the right suppliers to work with
- Check the operational feasibility of the solution when ready, with operations teams
- Assess the staffing required to deliver the solution
- Deliver solution documentation that includes description of the solution, network, redundancy availability and professional services, to build the offer for the customer
- Ensure the handover to the PMO and the project team when a deal is won. This includes budgets, architecture drawings and documentation.
- Visit the customers with the Sales manager to present Eurovision’s offers
- Assess accurately the costing of the full solution including the professional services
- Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals such that it meets client's requirement
- Craft compelling sales pitches and viable solutions
**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least 5 years experience in Telecommunications, Network, Broadcast Engineering or a similar environment
- 3 years minimum in a Pre-Sales and customer facing position is a plus
- Great communications skills in order to work with several teams with very different background as well as with customers and other important stakeholders
- Enhanced numerical and quantitative skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Very proficient with Excel and Strong team player
- Able to solve complex problems and build relevant technical solutions
- Proactive, with an analytic mindset
- Business mindset and financial awareness
- Demonstrated strong customer orientation and commercial skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven record of driving continuous improvement
- Able to discuss technical solutions with clients and defend company’s interests
- Able to work in harmony an in a partnership style with Sales Managers and E&T Engineers
- Fluent in English
**ADDED VALUE**
Additional experience in the following areas would be a bonus:
- Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed and international teams (our headquarters are located in Switzerland)
- Some experience in working on live sports events in a broadcasting environment
- French language knowledge
