In this role, you will **lead the accounting department** and will report to the VP of Finance. Your responsibilities will include **all aspects of financial management**, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, consolidating 40+ entities, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. **You will also lead Treasury and Invoicing** so all three areas are well interconnected. What can you expect to be doing in your day to day work? - **Lead the accounting, treasury and invoicing** departments, ensuring that all the finance areas are aligned and work interconnected - Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition - Prepare and publish timely **monthly management accounts** - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory **reporting** - Take the lead on payments and treasury management - Coordinate with external advisors including **payroll advisors** - Lead **month-end and year-end close process** (including audit process) - Ensure **quality control** over financial transactions and financial reporting - Manage and comply with **government reporting requirements and tax filings** - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen **internal controls** - Support in the coordination of administrative issues **WHAT DO THEY NEED YOU FROM YOU TO CONQUER THIS CHALLENGE?**: They will really really like if you have: - Empathy and willingness to **lead a team eager to learn and grow** - Capacity to assume ownership and responsibility with **impossible-is-nothing mentality** - Proven working experience in a similar role, specifically as an Accountant or Financial Controller and managing treasury - **Experience in international groups** with multiple subsidiaries will be positively valued - Good presentation and **communication skills**, both verbal a
