About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and train a team of innovative and reflective practitioners.
- Teach English Language and Literature classes and one or more of the other disciplines and lead by example through your own dynamic approach to teaching and learning in your classroom.
- Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in languages and humanities.
- Shape and implement a pioneering approach to education in these fields.
- Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and creativity.
- Inspire students to excel in IGCSE and other examinations, international competitions, and cultural exchanges.
- Develop strategies to help talented students perform to an outstanding level in all academic and extracurricular endeavors.
- Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Proven leadership experience and track record in a similar head of department or academic head role.
- Ideally we are looking for a UK trained and qualified teacher with suitable experience in UK or British International schools.
