The primary objective of this exciting internship opportunity is to gain a broad, multi-functional and multi-category experience within the K-C Consumer Business.

As a trainee, you will be part of the dedicated Retailer Brand Team which acts with an entrepreneurial, passionate and dynamic spirit. You will also be in regular contact with all departments of the organization and have the opportunity to grow your knowledge of the International Service Agreement environment and get a large visibility of K-C’s overall business in the Region.

**Here are just a few of the main responsibilities of our future intern**:
You will be managing Retailer Brands (RB) monthly tools (dashboard, customer profit tool, tenders/projects file, spend tracker, customers’ contracts revision, etc).

You will follow up on the main financial KPIs and identification of potential rationalization/ optimization within the RB portfolio, and develop competitive intelligence (market data/ retailers’ new requirements (including Sustainability) / competition/ products specifications / pricing / legal requirements)

You will also:

- optimize existing tools and build competitive intelligence around competitors (pricing, capabilities & footprint, product specifications) on K-C categories.
- Assist countries in starting the tender process (project kick-off)
- Put in place and follow the Retailer brand legal contract framework with the support of EMEA legal team (general + country if needed)
- Gather all RB contracts and ensure they’re up to date, being the focal point for legal audit.
- Lead the customer segmentation process across the UK and WE countries and support CBU Leader in identifying key targeted retailers on each K-C RB category
- Ensure RB business is included in Cost Transformation initiatives and ensure communication and coordination with the dedicated Team
- Support for the organisation of team meetings and trainings
- Assist the RB Team and countries into the organisation of mill visits (K-C people and retailers)
- Support the International Service Agreement Leader and Team

**About you**

As a person, you should have a critical, analytical thinking and willingness to use tools like Excel to organize data, create reports, and deliver meaningful insights & recommendations. The role will therefore demand demand capability in managing data & analytic skills, action-orientation, creativity and pro-activity.

You should also have a good basic understanding of product costing and business finance.

Last, you should have strong communication skills to work in a multi-cultural and cross functional team, and be business & consumer oriented with negotiation abilities.

To be successful in this role we believe you should:

- ** have full proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).** A second European language would be advantageous.
- **currently be enrolled in University or Business School, pursuing a master’s degree, or you are freshly graduated.** Preferred areas of study include Finance, Marketing and/or sales.
- Be PC proficient, able to develop oral and visual presentations, spreadsheets, and general correspondence.
- Have a previous relevant internship in Mass Market, advantageous.

The position is offered as a full time, 100% remote internship in Spain.
