HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist you will work very closely with the VP, HR Europe and the HR team providing support in a wide variety of HR processes for UK, France & Spain with French and English being your primary working languages. This position is a remote position and can be based in one of our European countries (UK, France, Spain or Germany). You will have the opportunity to travel within these countries.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Contact person for employees: Act as a respected and trustworthy resource to employees at every level of the company, with respect to issues including communication, management, performance and career development
- Leading effective HR processes for UK, France and Spain including talent acquisitions, performance appraisals, retention strategies, career planning, employee relations etc.
- Managing all day-to-day operations: Handling administrative HR topics (such as employment contracts, promotion letters, employee guidelines etc) as well as managing the HR software for UK, France & Spain
- Recruiting: Managing the entire recruiting circle
- HR Projects: Owning and driving of different European and global HR projects
- Employee Engagement: Assess employee engagement on a proactive, ongoing basis and develop and implement employee retention strategies in collaboration with the HR team
- Compensation & Benefits: Ensure employee compensation and benefits is in line with comparable industry benchmarks

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in UK and France across a variety of HR disciplines (talent acquisition, performance management, UK & French labour law, employee relations, training and development, compensation & benefits, etc.)
- Proven ability to build trusted relationship with management as well as employees, also in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills in English and French are required - written and spoken
- Spanish and /or German is a plus
- Experience in working with HR Bamboo, UKG and/or Workable is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Europe
