Field Services Representative

To support our Service & Repair department we are currently looking for a fulltime customer focused and independent Field Customer Service Engineer in Spain. This is a home-based position and traveling to customers within a given geographical territory is required. This group is responsible for new system installations and for providing timely remote and on-site service and repair support of the installed base. The role is crucial in driving customer satisfaction through service. **A Day in the Life **As a Field Customer Service Engineer you will be the face of the Service & Repair team across the Renal Care Solution product range for your customers. You will repair equipment breakdowns, perform technical tests. This will be in compliance with corporate regulations and laws regarding safety and quality at work as well as technical regulations. You will execute Preventive Maintenance programs and customer repairs to ensure the confidence of your customers in our products and our service, driving customer satisfaction and maintaining your customers as Net Promoters of Medtronic. Your main tasks and responsibilities include: - Proactively engage and maintain regular contacts and relationships with sales and customers in your area and carry out with them commercial initiatives to support the business promoting company image, in agreement with the manager. - Execute all technical service repairs and maintenance on medical devices commercialized by Medtronic directly at customer site in line with the service delivery plan defined with the manager. - Providing remote and on-site support for new installations and assisting in technical support for users - Provide remote support to the customer when needed - Supporting future product integration by organizing or performing upgrades and/or configuration updates to the equipment installed base - Extensive cooperation with Global Service to transfer development knowledge into sustainable support flow and to feedback serviceability and usability requirements - Review performance metrics for your territory and develop action plans to achieve goals. - Deliver Customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets to measure engagement and loyalty for your direct customers. Complete 100 % of closed loop process for Service & Repair. - Prove appropriate communications with internal and external customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction - Be 100 % compliant with QA procedures and training, complete all field service corrective actions within territory by due date - Be an ambassador for the service and repair team with customers and a trusted partner of our sales teams. Demonstrate a deep customer intimacy. - Follow all of the safety standards for the facility and behave in a way that does not put yourself or others at risk. - Travel within country and globally when required (mostly in case of trainings) - **Must Haves** - High school degree of electrical/mechanic or equivalent orientation - Full driving license required - Strong team player attitude - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills - English proficiency (reading is a must, conversation fluency is a nice to have) - Self-motivated and independent - Problem-solving approach / Sense of Urgency - Positive and proactive "can-do" customer focused attitude - Reliable and focused on quality equivalent even under stress - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - Contributes to process improvements - Problem solving and Root cause analysis - Field Service experience and Technical ability - Ability to read and understand service manuals **Nice to Have - Bachelor of Electrical engineering /Biomedical Engineering - 2 years or more of experience as Field Service Engineer for medical devices - Experience with renal dialysis, ventilation, electrosurgical, cardiovascular or radiology equipment, - Experience in working in the hospital setting and knowing the organization of the different departments (procurement, clinical engineering, OR/ICU ambients etc.) - Experience in an organization that drives customer intimacy through the use of systems such as Net Promoter Score philosophy and system and experience of using within the customer service sector. - Relevant experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electronic and electro-mechanical equipment in a field service role where you are customer facing in their premises - Sales orientation and knowledge of good selling practices - Preferred location: Logroño**About Medtronic - we might modify this for the new intro to NEWCO This Field Service role will be initially be part of Medtronic and will move to a to-be-named company we are calling “NewCo.” NewCo will be an independent company with equal partners, Medtronic & DaVita.
