The Product Development Center (PDC) - Móstoles leads the development of SMP low-rise system and its main components. We support the Manufacturing centers in Europe Africa, with focus in Móstoles, and we strive to provide the most competitive products. We are looking for Power Hardware Engineer. Mission of the new role is to design ELV DC power supplies working from requisites to the EVT/DVT through the development for low/mid/high rise elevators with global responsibility and working with main suppliers in the market.

**Qué esperamos**:

- Analyze project requirements.
- Study and design the necessary solutions to meet the requirements given in product development.
- Prepare documentation for new projects.
- Provide support in the preparation of technical documentation of the product (technical manuals).
- Analyze both European and International elevator standards.
- Analyze general regulations applicable to design.
- Coordinate with other departments on comprehensive projects.
- Work and develop new projects supported by software platforms.
- Execute and participate on the EVT and DVT tests to validate the hardware and software made before its validation in the system.

**A quién buscamos**:
You hold a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years with low-mid ELV DC power supplies development, AC/DC converters, DC/AC converters and related technology.
- Experience on Power electronic PCB & PCBA design.
- Comprehension of general electrical engineering concepts required
- Understanding of power supplies control design, programming and implementation
- Experience with Pspice/Plecs/Matlab/Simulink or similar
- Understanding of elevator systems and codes is a plus
- Demonstrated experience with the use of computer-assisted engineering tools (e.g. Altium Designer) and general knowledge of lab test equipment
- Requires working in lab and test tower, therefore all employees must be willing to adhere to all safety procedures and company safety standards
- Ability to follow algorithms coded in the C programming language
- Understanding of motor drives control design is a plus
- Understanding on digital control algorithms for 2 and 3-phase switching power converters is a plus
- You speak fluent English and Spanish
