Mechanical Engineeer to be working in our Client's premises in Barcelona, Spain, in the area of nuclear projects.

Nature of the works:

- Supporting mechanical design activities;
- Performing technical reports;
- Assisting the Project Manager and Project Management team;
- Supporting engineering integration (supervision and follow-up of suppliers' deliverables, including risk reports, budgets, schedules, etc.),

Required experience and skills:

- BSc. Eng/MSc Eng. in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace or nuclear engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years experience.
- Good command of the English language (minimum B2 level, written and spoken)

Desirable/advantageous experience/skills (Not essential. However, broad experience in some (at least 3) of the following:

- Experience in the nuclear industry;
- Experience with remote handling systems;
- Experience in the use of codes and standards used for the design and manufacturing of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, etc.);
- Experience in the preparation of the detailed design of mechanical components.
- Experience in the use of codes and standards for the design of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, European Directives, etc.).
- Experience in the production of built-to-print documentation.
- Experience in the assessment of built-to-print documentation, checking both technical and economic aspects.
- Experience in the definition of the manufacturing tolerances of mechanical assemblies considering the final dimensional requirements of the assemblies, including functional annotation.
- General knowledge of welding (TIG, GMAW, SMAW, EB, etc.), and/or brazing and/or HIPping.
- Experience in the definition of the design of mechanical systems based on relevant manufacturing processes (forming, forging, rolling, joining, machining, assembly, testing, etc.).
- Experience in the performance of FMEAs and/or functional analyses and/or reliability analyses and/or spare part analyses.
- Experience in the design of optical or opto-mechanical systems.
- Experience in the design of cryogenic systems.
