**Santander Consumer Finance is looking for a Data & Intelligence Strategist, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.**

**Santander Consumer Finance **focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a Data & Intelligence Strategist, you will lead the strategic process of design thinking to detect data and exploitation business opportunities and communicate those opportunities and results to key stakeholders.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Detect critical business moment of truth on customer journey and back processes which can benefit from data analysis and exploitation
- Define data needs from internal or external sources
- Explore large data sets to identify business potentials
- Conceptualize and define strategic/ competitive vantage points from data
- Manage project execution and follow-on delivery validation
- Serve as lead “point of contact” with advanced analytical and visualization teams
- Lead the data and business translation function within the Leasing business

EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of hands-on data, analysis and/or business intelligence experience
- 3+ years of management/strategy consulting
- Excel at problem-solving:

- Breaking down a problem into smaller, more manageable parts, creating business value every step of the way
- Deciding among possible solutions in a critical way
- Implementing actions and evaluating outcomes in a quantitative way

EDUCATION
- Studies of Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, etc.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Good knowledge of BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy, Spotifier, Qlik
- Strong intrinsic problem-solving skills, ability to structure and solve problems and conduct and interpret analysis independently, with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills
- Knowledge of basic/ standard analytical algorithms and statistics
- English C1/C2 is a must

AS A PLUS
- Experience in Leasing and/or Auto finance is a plus
- MBA
- Knowledge of database structures and infrastructures
- Programming experience (VB, Python, etc.)
