You are in the right place Come join our Associates team in Marketing & Prime, where your actions will have direct impact to thousands of associates and millions of customers The Spain Marketing & Prime organization is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager based in Madrid. You will be joining our Associates team, whose mission is to engage customers in their online journey and influence their product discovery and shopping decisions. Amazon Associates offers traffic diversity through thousands of sites which link to Amazon through content that engages customers at all stages of the purchasing funnel - from inspiration, to research, price checks, discovering a deal, or subscribing to a service. The Senior Business Development Manager supports this mission by driving end-to-end development of our associates’ pipeline in Spain. The role requires negotiations at the senior executive level, and on-the-ground expertise to initiate, structure, negotiate, and close new relationships, as well as renew existing ones, with Spain’s largest online publishers and social media influencers. These are authoritative figures in Spain’s media landscape, with a strong editorial/advertorial credibility amongst customers. Senior Business Development Managers possess excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills. They operate autonomously taking full control and responsibility for meeting business and partner objectives. Solid understanding of SEO, key affiliate integration business models and practices **You are good at**: - Overseeing large, or more complex strategic relationships independently that are considered business critical with significant bottom-line impact - Developing strong partner relationships that enable renewals and/or necessary amendments of existing contracts - Leading overall pipeline development, as well as syncing often with other internal business units to drive a more holistic marketing proposition with key partners in the portfolio - Working backwards from partners to identify new opportunities to diversify their product mix and improve their spend efficiency - Contributing to the strategic development of features and functionalities that maximize revenue and drive incremental margin from partner agreements - Working with Finance, Business Intelligence and Product teams to analyze trends, understand business impact and replicate best practices at scale - Auditing and improving performance, reporting to senior leadership and communicating closely with various internal stakeholders **Tip**: Thank You **Note**: If you need us to make any adjustments throughout the recruitment process due to a disability or any other health issue, please let us know.
