Finance Associate

**Tripaneer is looking for a full-time Finance Associate to work with us in Amsterdam.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports
- Lead preparation of management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, and other reports
- Lead preparation of monthly board presentation and budget to actuals analysis
- Manage daily finance operations, account records, issue invoices, and receipts, and handle payments
- Actively manage business finance, reporting and analysis across departments
- Process requisitions and other business forms, report on the account and cash balances, and support government and regulatory filings
- Analyze financial data and assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparations
- Handle internal and external stakeholder communication

**Qualifications**
- Degree in either Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of experience as an Accounting or Finance professional
- Eager to learn, result-driven, and able to learn on the fly
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Good eye for detail and always taking ownership of your work
- High proficiency in English

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master’s degree
- Prior eCommerce and/or startup experience in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in reporting results to the senior management
- Working knowledge of Dutch
- Prior experience with QuickBooks, Exact & other accounting tools
