**Overview of Role**:
With a strong visibility at the market level the BM will be tasked with supporting the GM in driving the organisational strategy and supporting operational initiatives. In the case of Italy BM will support GM in defining and building GBT strategy on country operational presence. The ability to work locally and globally is a must as well as flexibility working on diverse strategic projects and topics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ownership of SP & IT performance management reporting and review process
- Delivery of impactful and succinct communications and insights for key business reviews and drive seamless and timely delivery of projects / data requests / analytics
- Ownership of GM’s major task list, overseeing planning, timing and execution/delivery
- Manage the planning, forecasting, revenue tracking, and reporting processes in for all Southern Europe projects/initiatives
- Representing GM at key operational and project meetings to help assimilate key information and to action upon key tasks to support and drive the regional agenda
- Supporting the GM in the annual strategic review and strategy build process
- Focus on building a winning strategy for Italy
- Continually review performance of sales and account management organisation; develop and communicate insights into performance drivers, identify key risks and develop a mitigation plan
- Deliver excellent analytics of key regional data sets, to provide deep commercial acumen and thought leadership when generating meaningful insights on performance and new growth and improvement opportunities to the management group
- Support the GM in driving continuous improvement and performance management of the regional business
- Support the GM in preparation and development of content for key internal and external meetings
- Lead the development of new regional growth opportunities with new products, markets and partnerships with the management team
- Work in partnership with Business Manager’s in Central and Northern Europe and EMEA region
**Key Qualifications and Attributes**:
- Strong communication skills translating complex data into key messages and presenting to internal and external (senior) stakeholders and counterparts. Excellent communicator and presenter
- MBA or Commercial experience to the level of.
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Hold a passion for delivering customer centricity in to business
- Strong self awareness and emotional intelligence
- Excellent analytical mindset with broad commercial acumen and thought leadership
- Self starter who is able to work independently as well as in a global team.
- Demonstrated project management, organization and planning skills applied in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- Highly analytical
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Italian language knowledge is a plus.
- A passion for travel and an experience of the business travel industry
