Job Summary

As a System Administrator, Network Administrator or ICT Infrastructure Specialist, you are responsible for setting up and guaranteeing the continuity of the technical infrastructure of our renowned customers in accordance with the set performance characteristics. You take care of implementing and handling complex changes and solving disruptions and escalations. You are therefore also able to actively advise on improvements for software, servers, networks and network components (communication infrastructure) and security on the basis of user evaluations, performance measurements and your own analyses and, moreover, to implement the installation and configuration of the chosen improvement. You act as a point of contact for the customer and your colleagues, and you monitor the stability, safety, availability, quality and continuity of the infrastructure. You do this by proactively responding to impending disruptions and solving problems.

**For the role we require 2-5 years’ experience as System Administrator (or similar) analyzing and solving network and server problems.**:

- Being an enthusiastic and customer-oriented IT professional who is looking for an informal working environment in which you can learn new things and where you can make an important contribution to the team.
- You are enterprising and proactive; you can think out of the box.
- Broad general knowledge of hosting environments and internet technology.
- You have demonstrable knowledge of WHM/cPanel, Linux distros and Domain (dns) management.
- Knowledge and experience with firewall and routing configurations, think of FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco

Stack switches, Ubiquiti-Unifi controllers -switches, firewall and APs.
- Demonstrable experience as a system engineer, system administrator or infrastructure specialist in a

Microsoft environment.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft server 2019.
- Knowledge and experience in creating customizing powershell scripts.
- Management experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft SQL Server is a first step.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Management experience of VoIP panels (SimPBX)
- Synology NAS devices.
- Experience with monitor systems is an advantage.

**Requirements**:
**Desirable skills/experience/education**
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ working experience in third line support.
- IT qualified and certified professional (MCSA / MCSE / MCSD / MCCA /CCNA)
- Knowledge of data protection (GDPR)
- Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.

**Essentials**
- You are full-time available.
- Good command of at least English and Spanish..
- In possession of a driving license
- EU citizenship and or EU Work Permit;
- Regional team involvement will mean that extended and/or irregular hours will be required.
- Ability to work well with others & independently, without supervision.
- Travel to other/future AmSpec European locations may be required.
- Knowledge of local environment (with attention to wastes), health and safety requirements/legislations
- Ensures compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, environmental, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
