Systems Administrator

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade, manage our software, hardware and networks besides to lead the Sys Admin Madrid team.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Responsibilities
Day-to-day installation, configuration, support, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
Build an internal documentation with technical information and IT policies
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a System Administrator or you successfully completed studies in the field of informatics or a comparable qualification; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
Experience with scripting and automation tools (batch, powershell)
Knowledge of system security data backup/recovery, patch management
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms; Microsoft Windows Servers and/or Azure Virtual Desktop, Linux.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
