**Your Role**

We are looking for an Indirect Senior Buyer to join the team and help us with the ambition of

expanding the role of Indirect Procurement inside Affinity.

In 2021 Affinity initiated a project to transform the way Indirect Purchases are managed in the

company in order to achieve cost efficiencies, transparency and control in all areas. Today we

keep building on the Indirect Procurement strategy and aim to expand the coverage.

**What will you do**

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager, the position will:

- Design and implement together with the Indirect Procurement Manager the action plan to both capture incremental savings and deliver maximum added value to the business (right balance between cost-service-quality).
- Work closely with internal clients to ensure early involvement and build partnering relationships.
- Contribute to the Change management; implement internally news ways of working and the new Purchasing platform, deliver continuous training for newcomers in the company.
- Define and implement the category strategy for key categories.
- Manage the procurement initiatives: lead procurement projects, optimize costs and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with Legal department in contract negotiation.
- Contribute to implement the Supplier Management processes for the categories in scope (evaluation, development etc).
- Search for the best-in-class suppliers for the Business and manage the supplier’s base.
- Report cost savings and efficiencies periodically.

**What are **we **looking for**?**

We are looking for a person with at least 4-5 years of experience as a buyer, willing to face new challenges and take on responsibilities.
- Holds a Business Degree.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English, other languages such as French or Italian will be valued.
- Experience in an e-sourcing platform will be valued.
- Experience in managing IT categories (highly valued) and Professional Services categories.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to build business-partnering relationships with stakeholders.
- Able to make decisions and take leadership in his/her managing categories.
- High technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in transversal teams.
- Self-driven and autonomous.
