**About the role**:
We are looking for a **Senior Indirect Buyer** to ensure that the organization selects the most appropriate suppliers, for the achievement of the economic, quality and service objectives, and to manage all assigned suppliers and lead all purchasing activities for the projects we develop.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to Indirect Purchasing Manager, the Senior Indirect Buyer will be responsible for cost negotiation, Contract T&C, quality, technology, and delivery with the suppliers.
- Must fully understand stakeholders needs, keeping up to date with market knowledge and reacting to market changes as key elements of the role. Be able to maximize profits and provide solid frame contracts with suppliers at competitive prices & conditions.
- Manage the supplier portfolio and spend categories, identify risks, and implement strategic plans to assure fulfillment of business objectives (develop, promote, globalize, replace or reduce supplier panel size), providing quantifiable achievements and monitorization of scores.
- Be an active member of the Project team during Development. Main role is to coordinate with Engineering and/or Key stakeholders, all assigned suppliers and lead all purchasing activities across functions and departments. The Indirect Buyer goals are aligned with Project goals and are monitored weekly with the Indirect Manager and the Project Manager.
- Support R&D with prototypes and pre-serial sourcing commercial negotiations.
- Define and control communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers.
- Stay up to date with legislation and environmental standards and make sure systems and processes are compliant.
- Lead all supplier communications for Engineering changes, minimizing cost impact, and coordinating timing and samples with Project team, and Operations Team.
- Manage ongoing communications with suppliers and resolve issues using the escalation matrix.
- Identify, propose, and implement changes to improve buying or procurement procedures, establish global sourcing & purchase process among Wallbox subsidiaries.
- Accountable for utilizing the supply chain knowledge to contribute to his optimization together with Logistics Department and Supplier.
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and quality issues
- Manage end-to-end contract process and negotiation. Support in the implementation of framework contracts.
- Set Up KPI on spend categories and analyze KPI reports to implement improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business Administration/Economics or/and Master in Purchasing
- Proven purchasing experience of minimum 5 years in similar position (Indirect categories such as: IT; IoT; Industrial Design; Facilities; MRO; Professional Services;)
- Very Strong knowledge of RF(x) procurement processes.
- High negotiation and organizational abilities
- Cost saving and results oriented.
- Strong analytical with strong proven problem-solving abilities
- Initiative and ability to recognize emerging problems and proactively develop solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Interpersonal skills to work in a cross-functional team
- ERP system experience as Oracle, Netsuite, SAP, Dynamics and/or P2P Software.
- Advanced English and Spanish, ideally one other European language
- Leadership skills, ability to focus on results, plan and deliver against project milestones
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive processes
- Open minded, autonomous, and problem-solving
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of financial analysis and cost modeling.
