**Global Sourcing Buyer - EMEA**

**Why this is job for you**:
As a part of Global Sourcing organization, Global Sourcing Buyer supports IP EMEA locations and businesses by providing expertise in sourcing strategies, leveraging volumes, negotiations and implementation of cost effective procurement contracts. Global Sourcing Buyer is expected to manage portfolio of categories and drive Total Cost of Ownership, cost savings initiatives, utilizing CSSS methodology (Collaborate / Strategize / Source / Sustain) in accordance with Global Sourcing policies and processes.

Core responsibilities include contract management/compliance and cost monitoring. Also, within Global Sourcing Buyer’s targets is to support local procurement with resolutions, escalation of issues and claims, monitoring supplier performance and supplier relationship development, support emergency supplies when needed.

**You will be**:

- Leading the sourcing of various product or service categories for EMEA
- Managing the full portfolio of suppliers, with an estimated annual spend of $20MM+
- Ensuring savings within your category by spending at targeted or below the budget
- Managing and optimizing supplier base to provide best, long-term value
- Drafting, finalizing and timely implementing contracts with suppliers
- Monitoring contracts’ performance and compliance to ensure excellent supplier performance
- Utilizing project management skills to lead projects (sourcing events) end to end in EMEA
- Representing your region in global projects in order to implement optimal suppliers portfolio, generate savings and process improvements, challenge status quo and introduce innovative solutions
- Building EMEA Sourcing strategies
- Analyzing spend data, underlying market drivers to build up long-term sourcing strategies
- Incorporating sustainability (environment, social, safety, ethics & compliance) in every sourcing process
- Working with highly skilled professionals and lead negotiations for wide range of categories
- Influencing strategic business decisions by recommending most optimal suppliers
- Driving TCO (total cost of ownership / life cycle cost) reduction initiatives by engaging key suppliers in suggesting improvements in the operations, processes or procedures with the goal of reducing total cost without emphasis solely on reducing the initial purchase price of the commodity/service
- Developing and sustaining an efficient and constructive collaboration with Procurement & Supply Chain teams
- The person who can be turned to for expert knowledge, advice, or reliable performance, especially in a crucial situation
- SME on all Sourcing related topics (Company policies, best practices, tools)

**You have**:

- 5+ years company or related experience; experience in two or more functional areas which should include work on cross-functional teams and experience negotiating contracts
- Bachelor or Master’s degree required, preferably in Business, Logistics, Engineering or Finance related field
- Demonstrated leadership and developing managerial skills
- Purchased complex items, where detailed specification was involved
- Been involved in developing specifications and analysis to balance the value of competing bids; project management and certain strategic planning is key
- A demonstrated command of skills in analysis and negotiations, project management, communications, presentations, change management, problem solving
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external counterparts
- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Good organizational skills
- Flexibility for business travels
- Fluency in **English** is a must
- Fluency in **Spanish** and/or **French **is a strong advantage
- Fluency in Italian or Polish would be an asset
