Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field of study.
- Multiple years of relevant work experience in project management, product management, or marketing; managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to provide thought leadership that fosters product innovation and business opportunity.
- Experience delivering products/services in a high growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to translate business and customer needs into effective solutions.
- Natural ability to focus on big ideas that drive significant change but enjoys diving deep into the details.
- Strong bias for action and willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done.
- Excellent communication skills in English, must effectively communicate at all levels and functions.
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects.
- Proven record of innovation and delivering those ideas to drive long term results. Ability to successfully deliver end-to-end projects, working through the many obstacles along the way.

Job summary

In this role you will lead the Store Optimisation pillar within EU5 and JP Grocery. Store Optimisation aims to maximise online customer conversion, through merchandising experimentation, and drive scale and automation of positive outcomes. You will develop the strategy and experimentation roadmap for Store Optimisation, innovating on behalf of our customers, and leverage offshoring resource to execute on the roadmap. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with local teams to prioritise and roll-out key experiments to address local needs while finding ways to scale globally, collaborate with analytics and insights to build detailed customer journey reporting and run in-depth customer shopping research, and partner with global tech teams to feed learnings into product roadmaps.

Key job responsibilities
- Create a merchandising experimentation roadmap to drive $100MM+ incremental online grocery revenue.
- Work with country SMEs and offshoring resource to execute the roadmap.
- Build holistic reporting to track and deeply understand how customers are shopping online grocery.
- Run shopping behaviour research to deep dive specific shopping behaviour topics.
- Leverage data and customer insights to validate the roadmap and re-prioritise if needed.
- Share experimentation learnings with tech teams to inform product roadmaps.
- Communicate vision, roadmap, KPIs, performance, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Advanced degree in business, analytics, finance or marketing.
