**Job Description**:
Category Buyer is responsible for negotiating contracts, monitor and improve purchase prices and terms of business, review market opportunities to make savings by utilizing procurement best practice tools and methods.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
- Identify inventory needs from all internal customers (PSD business units)
- Discover ways to gain savings and values for company, such as volume rebates, safety stocks, long payment terms, profitable delivery terms / prices, etc..
- Create, maintain, and communicate own objectives
- Monitoring purchase order and suppliers budget flow to be able to create regular reports for the management

2.2. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
- Identify inventory needs from all internal customers (PSD business units)
- Discover ways to gain savings and values for company, such as volume rebates, safety stocks, long payment terms, profitable delivery terms / prices, etc..
- Create, maintain, and communicate own objectives
- Monitoring purchase order and suppliers budget flow to be able to create regular reports for the management
- Set up, control and report KPIs of respective area
- Cross functional cooperation to gain overall companies’ operational success.
- Show strong industry knowledge, forecast market trends and perform internal customer support
- Support project, warehouse and logistics leads with trend analysis
- Work with Business Control team to monitor supplier performance and evaluation management. This will include development of profitable purchasing strategies and a periodical review of contracts and suppliers with an aim to trigger price, term review or change suppliers if necessary.
- Ensure substitution of daily operations by overseeing sick leaves, vacations and responsibilities split to minimize process continuity risks.
- Monitor conduct of anyone involved in the purchasing process, escalating appropriately if there are instances of attempt to circumvent Evolution’s purchasing and / or budgetary policies.
- Resolve inter-personal conflicts and being prepared for proper escalation of issues to direct manager if necessary.
- Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications.
- Be able to replace team members during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences..
- Ensure and maintain work instruction for respective area, be able to onboard/train new team members.The employee is responsible for proper, high quality and timely execution of his job obligations according to the requirements of laws and regulations.
- Request the manager to provide timely and accurate job assignments and to secure necessary resources for execution of job responsibilities and tasks.
Provide the manager proposals for potential work improvement possibilities.
**Qualifications**:
Execution of job duties requires:
- Higher education in a relevant technical or business field.
- Developed communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
- Experience in modern procurement, purchasing processes and related ERP systems / tools.
- Knowledge about risk management processes in purchasing.
- Good knowledge of both written and spoken English.
- High sense of responsibility and integrity, ability to work and continue to develop independently.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Axapta, SAP).
