- This is a role requiring strong engineering background, analytical and organizational skills. The Solar PV Project Engineer will be supporting the EPC Team during pre-construction and construction stage in all technical matters related to preliminary project design, evaluation and selection of main equipment and evaluation of EPC/BOS proposals. During the construction stage, he/she will support the Engineering Manager in the review of the engineering package prepared by EPC/BOS contractors and main equipment suppliers

**Activities**:
The Solar PV Project Engineer shall provide support to the EPC Team in:

- Reviewing technical documentation from suppliers/advisors
- Ensuring that products meet TotalEnergies technical specifications and applicable standards
- Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them
- Preparing technical documentation for Request for Proposals (RfP), tenders and contracts
- Evaluating technical proposals
- Keeping all project documentation well-structured and classified
- Cost evaluation and comparison of commercial proposals
- Technology assessment, market R&D, cost optimization and sensitivity analysis
- Coordination and supervision of design review process with external parties (EPC Contractors, Owner´s Engineers, Advisors)
- From 3 to 8 years of professional experience within the solar PV industry working for EPC contractors, IPPs or Project Developers.
- Master Degree in Engineering (electrical or mechanical is preferred although not a must)
- Specific post-graduate training in Solar PV (design and technology) is a plus
- Good knowledge on PV modules, inverters, single-axis trackers and fixed mounting structures for PV plants
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Good knowledge of applicable software; AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVCase, etc.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- High analytical and communication skills
- Self-motivated, with strong initiative and creative thinking
- Ability to read/write clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
