Director, Product Portfolio Operations (remote)

**Focus Areas**:

- ** Governance**: Lead, manage and execute the product and solutions governance processes.
- ** Project Management** and **Execution**: Operational lead on cross-portfolio initiatives. Tracking, managing and coordinating product roadmaps, timelines, deliverables, and business reviews.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: Serving as a liaison between the VP of Portfolio Solutions & Services, and other senior executives, internal teams, and external partners. Managing communication and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure product success.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between product management, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and other departments.
- ** Process Optimization**: Streamlining and improving product management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and increase quality.
- ** Continuous Improvement and Innovation**: Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product management teams, by staying updated on industry best practices.

**Preferred Experience and Skills**:

- ** Product Management Background**: Experience in product management and/or product operations is required. Demonstrable understanding of the product development lifecycle, customer needs, and market dynamics. Preferably in the software industry in the open-source domain.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Previous roles that involved extensive cross-functional collaboration, especially with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams.
- ** Leadership Roles**: Prior experience in leadership positions, such as manager, or director. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- ** Project Management**: Strong project management skills are essential for overseeing product processes, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders, both internal (executives, team members) and external (partners, clients).
- ** Change Management**: Background in managing transitions, organizational changes, or shifts in strategy, with a focus on minimizing disruptions and ensuring a smooth transition.
- ** Innovation and Ideation**: Exposure to fostering a culture of innovation, encouraging creative thinking, and driving new product ideas.
- English language fluency required. Additional languages are a plus.

- ** Self-motivated**, able to handle ambiguity and work independently in a remote setup.
