Minimum qualifications:

- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working as a Chief of Staff or in a Strategy/Operations role at a C-level technology company.
- Experience in a consulting, strategy, operations, project management, and/or related role.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in a role requiring impeccable business acumen, analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.
- Ability to show confidence, clarity, and credibility even under conditions of stress, pressure, and uncertainty.
- Ability to operate at the strategic level as well as execute on tactical work.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and action requests.

**About the job**:
As the Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for a diverse set of activities that enables the VP to focus on areas that are central to the successful leadership of the business. You will play a leading role in shaping and influencing strategy for a material part of Google Cloud business.

In this role, you will support the VP by being a proxy for them in meetings while helping them prepare for others. You will lead strategic initiatives that are contributing to the organization's success and transformation. You will be an active member of the leadership team, contributing to agenda’s management, business reviews preparation, and more.

In this role, you will act as a thought partner in highly strategic discussions and execute on activities that are tactical and operational in nature.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive strategic initiatives for the industry organization, work closely with the leadership team to ensure an efficient cadence, and follow key actions decided on strategic initiatives (i.e., sales excellence framework, Leadership in Sustainability, DEI, Industry Solutions, GTM, etc.).
- Act as a proxy for the VP when required and/or meet with individuals prior to them meeting the VP to ensure they are prepared to have an effective meeting.
- Work with the VP’s Executive Business Partner (EBP) to oversee the Office of the VP and daily operations.
- Act as a thought partner with your VP’s on leadership communications and help set the organizational culture.
- Ensure messages are coherent by reinforcing cross-operational bonds.
