Production Manager

Our proprietary solid-state battery technology will allow us to develop and commercialise safe, high performance and affordable products for a diverse portfolio of customers, from mobility, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics. To this end, we offer the position of **Production Manager**. **MAIN FUNCTIONS** The **Production Manager** is responsible for the establishment and the management of Basquevolt’s prototype manufacturing facility. The **Production Manager** will have the responsibility of cooperating on the definition of the manufacturing process for the prototype line as well as, establish priorities on it. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, s/he will be responsible for: - Plan, organize, and coordinate the production activities of the battery manufacturing facility to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products. - Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. - Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and throughput. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless integration of processes and adherence to product specifications. - Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment required for battery production, ensuring adequate inventory levels and timely availability. - Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure a safe working environment and consistently high-quality products. - Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze production data, and prepare regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. - Proven experience of at least 5 years in production management in the battery manufacturing industry. - Strong knowledge of battery production processes, including assembly, testing, and quality control. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse production team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - English mandatory. Spanish and other European languages would be an advance.
