Chief Accountant III fully performs various accounting activities in support of the shared services accounting department. Completes activities like journal entry preparation, reconciliation, and research. Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and control procedures as needed to meet established company goals and comply with regulatory standards. Typically follows prescribed guidelines or procedures to resolve problems and performs a variety of routine tasks or assignments.

**Essential Duties And Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities**:
Maintains detailed records of individual fixed asset purchases. Transfers and reviews sub ledger activity (depreciation, sales, retirement, and CIP) to the General Ledger and reconcile fixed asset sub ledger to the General Ledger. Prepares and reviews monthly Capital Expenditure, PP&E Roll forward, Sales and Retirement reports for managers. Performs monthly close process and prepare journal entries on GL activity. Records and reviews monthly amortization cost of patent and trademark, Microsoft software charge and IT related charges. Reconciles monthly accounts by way of preparing balance sheet reconciliations for various legal entities. Prepares all invoices for all entities and assist with FLUX reports for quarterly audit purposes. May guide and support less experienced team members as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from a Russian university.

**EXPERIENCE**:at least 5 years in a Russian company

Has working knowledge and experience in own discipline.

**SKILLS (proficiency level generally aligns to knowledge section above)**:

- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical capabilities including a full command of mathematics, weights, and measures.
- Spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working within defined parameters in close alignment with supervision.
- Discipline-specific applicable software and tools.
- Excellent knowledge of the Tax and Labor Codes of the Russian Federation
