**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity to be involved in a large life insurance project with a prominent banking group has emerged.

iptiQ's Life & Health Insurance Product Management team consists of 9 colleagues based in 5 different locations across Europe. As an Insurance Product Developer, based in Madrid and reporting to the Senior Insurance Product Manager for Life & Health business in Spain and Portugal, you will be involved in the end-to-end life and health (protection) product lifecycle for a large bancassurance project, from initial concept to development and implementation of the product and any related services.

Working with our tight-knit cross functional team, centred in Madrid but also with representation from across Europe, you will liaise with various functional experts including Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Compliance, Legal and Operations.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Support product design and development with a strong focus on customer value and risk management
- Conduct product testing, where this includes initial validation of the product concept through customer research as well as pre-implementation product testing
- Produce detailed product specifications and risk assessments for protection products
- Support the development of product and customer literature, for example Terms and Conditions

**About You**

No prior life insurance experience is required, however the following would be helpful:

- Prior knowledge of or involvement in life insurance products and solutions
- Experience working within a cross-functional team
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese language skills would be an advantage)
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Self-motivated and proactive with an ability to work under pressure
