**Freelance Marketing Manager - Time Out Market Barcelona**

Time Out Market Barcelona is seeking a freelance Marketing Manager to boost visibility among both locals and tourists, strengthen community connections, and support content and event initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive, culturally aware marketer with strong expertise in brand strategy, event marketing, and content creation.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Local Marketing Strategy**
Adapt and execute the global brand marketing plan for Barcelona, aligning activities with local culture and seasonal trends (particularly during the tourist-heavy summer months).

**Activations**
Lead ideation, planning, logistics, and on-site management of activations, ensuring smooth execution and post-event analysis.

**Paid Media**
Coordinate with the Digital Services Agency to manage paid media campaigns, including Google Ads and Meta Ads, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.

**CRM & Newsletter**
Work closely with the CRM team to plan bi-monthly newsletter content, ensuring copy is locally relevant and engaging for the community.

**TO Media**
Partner with Time Out Spain and Global editorial team to pitch and secure coverage for market events, vendors, chefs, and local stories.

**Reporting**
Monitor, track, and report on key marketing metrics such as event attendance, social media engagement, and newsletter subscriber growth.
