Strategic Policy Manager, Policy Functions, Europe

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement internal and external strategies together with the Director of Sustainability Policy, the Director of Policy Campaigns, and the Head of Politics and Government Outreach
- Work with cross functional teams, and drive improvements to policies & processes within the Europe Policy Functions Org
- Work closely with the leadership team of the Policy Functions branch and with regional and country managers across Meta’s Europe Public Policy teams to align goals and ensure clear communication channels
- Build systems that enable effective impact measurement across the branch
- Consult regularly with cross-functional teams at all levels - be a representative in planning, strategy and cross-functional meetings and events
- Deliver presentations to internal audiences on a wide range of topics
- Work with teams across Meta to scope new opportunities for policy engagement that advance the company’s long-term policy priorities
- Plan, execute and scale internal processes to enable regional engagement on priority policy files and issues
- Manage cooperation with select consulting companies and trade associations
- Support the Director with briefing materials, talking points, and presentations to enable senior-level internal and external engagements

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Experience with public policy and / or government relations and advocacy work
- Experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, or relevant industry associations
- Experience leading and collaborating with internal cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver exceptional work products
- Needs to have a detailed understanding of Meta’s mission, products and policies
- Team player with the ability to exercise good decision making in a dynamic and fast changing environment while also under time pressure to design and deliver exceptional work products
- Self-starter requiring mínimal direction with experience working independently, and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
- Exceptional organisational and operational skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and drive your own strategy
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, organisational skills
- Strong strategic and creative mindset
- Willingness to travel (when company travel resumes)
