- **About You**:_
We are looking for a Ground Operations Coordinator, an engaging and performance-oriented professional who is flexible, collaborative, self-starting and highly organized. This role will require a keen eye for detail and the propensity for dynamic and unique problem-solving. You will be the face of our company, ensuring an outstanding level of customer service, supporting, and nourishing the network of guides and suppliers and taking ownership of all issues that need to be managed to secure smooth operations and prompt departures of tours.
- **About the Opportunity**:_
This role will be based in Barcelona, reporting to our Ground Operations Manager. You will need to be able to work some mornings, afternoons and weekends. You must be legally able to work on a freelance (autonomo) basis.
- **Your responsibilities**:_
- Retrieve or print tickets
- Be available to assist the Operations team with last-minute guide, ticket, or customer issues
- Welcoming guests and taking care of onsite guest check-in
- Welcoming guides and assigning them to their groups
- Elevate customer experience by addressing, actioning, or escalating any questions or issues
- Accounting: Cash and Voucher distribution and tracking
- Ensuring our records of the event, tickets used, customer no-shows and other variables are correct and up to date.
- Delivery, collection and maintenance of headsets
- **Your Skills**:_
- Positive demeanour and naturally comfortable in front of a crowd
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills while managing large, diverse groups of people
- Ability to be calm and consistent under pressure and while multi-tasking
- Wide knowledge of Barcelona, transportation, sites, and other tour products that we offer
- Tech savvy with the ability to learn multiple company systems in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English and basic Spanish.
- Previous experience in the service industry, as well as the hospitality and tourism industry are an advantage.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-12 per week
