**Mission of the position**:
To contribute to driving the sustainability strategy from an integral vision for its integration throughout the value chain by promoting different initiatives and projects that ensure our progress towards a decarbonisation model given the public commitments that the company has acquired and with the aim of maintaining its positioning and national and international recognition in this area.

**Functions**:

- Driving the Climate Change strategy.
- Develop a Circular Economy model by detecting opportunities with the most relevant areas of the value chain through alliances with third parties.
- Ensure the implementation of the governance model and the system of control of risks and opportunities in the field of Climate Change (TCFD).
- Reinforce a Sustainability Risk Map
- Promote the measurement, management and control of information related to sustainability in compliance with the new regulatory environment in this area.
- Participate in the different sustainability-related rankings to maintain Melia Hotels International's leadership as a responsible and sustainable company.
- Manage relations with national and international partners.
- To analyse the new regulatory environments applicable to sustainability matters.
- Collaborate in the preparation of the Annual Sustainability Report.
- To enhance the level of integration of sustainability in our portfolio.

**What are we looking for?**
- Engineering, Economics and/or Business Degree
- Master in Sustainability or Business Administration
- At least 2 years of experience in a related or similar position would be an advantage.
- High knowledge of excel, SAP environment, accounting and experience in creating presentations.
- Communication, leadership and proactive skills.
- Fluent English
- Commitment to live in Palma
