The Test Manager will be able to manage the testing needs for new implementation Client projects from end to end and/or manage one or more BAU releases.

Our Test Managers will be involved in all aspects of testing SDLC process from defining test approach/estimation and testing as well as the more technical activities including test automation, database manipulation and XML injection testing to functional specification testing, Client relationships and UAT support.

In addition they will be expected to mentor and promote test best practices within the test team.

Test Design & Preparation:
- Manage and Create the Test approach- Produce and/or Review all test documentation for each assigned Client implementation/release- Manage and participate in reviews of business requirements/user stories to ensure that they are quantifiable and testable;- Manage the team to understand and extract testing requirements from Functional specification and business requirements;

Test execution and leadership:
- Provide day to day supervision for test resources engaged in the project so that they are aware of their deliverables due dates and required quality- Assign daily test activities to the test resources assigned to your release/project and ensure deliverables are being meet- Manage defect tracking and test case management system(s) to document test cases, record defects and record test case execution results- Raise and re-test defects- Coordinate and Manage defect triage meetings as directed

Experience required- High standard of communication in both spoken and written dialogue;- Confident, and able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment;- Demonstrated test management activities on existing and/or new FNZ Platform implementations and/or test managed multiple platforms at the same time- Experience with building relationships, delivering and supporting external clients- Experience with SQL;- Experience in different Test methodologies - Waterfall and Agile SDLC- Knowledge of test tools including test management, defect management (JIRA, X-Ray);- Basic understanding of C# or prior Test Automation experience- Independent, self-directing working style;- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast-paced industry;- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast-paced industry;- Enjoy working as part of a high performance team- Familiarity in finance products and market desirable.- Flexible and Adaptable to change- Knowledge of the FNZ platform (desirable)
