As a Power System Simulation Engineer, you will contribute to the definition and development of the Traction Flow Load Analysis in Rail Systems Major Projects.
- Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision

Minimum Requirements
+ 5 years or more of relevant experience will be preferred
+ Previous experience will be valued if related to the following rail system fields, and skills:
+ CAD capabilities
+ Knowledge on other railway systems (signaling, communications,)
+ Knowledge on railways EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
+ Knowledge on system assurance and RAMS
+ Knowledge on additional languages
+ 3 years of relevant experience in Rail Systems
+ Experience in traction power simulations in AC and DC systems
+ Experience in the use of load flow studies calculation tools
+ Familiar with railway related standards (EN50122, EN50149, EN60163, EN50182, EN50328, EN50329, EN50388 ) or IEC equivalent
+ Experience in MATLAB programming
+ Spanish and English languages professional proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
