**Quality Control & Microbiology Technician (Gava-Barcelona-Spain)**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sampling of finished product (bulk and packaging), raw materials, packaging components and similar following the established procedures.
- Physicochemical and/or microbiological analysis of finished product (bulk and packaging), raw materials, packaging components and similar following the established procedures.
- Preparation of culture media and sterile material according to established procedures.
- Document the raw data and results of activities according to the established procedures.
- Approve batches of finished product (bulk and packaging), raw materials, packaging components and similar following the established procedures.
- Document and manage non-conformance following the established procedures.
- Generate certificates of analysis.
- Verification/Calibration of equipment and instruments.
- Propose ideas or projects for improvement in processes.
- Handling and disposing of waste according to the established procedure.
- Follow current regulations on quality and safety as well as the quality standards of the company.
- Participate in the detection of potential occupational risks
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory and good documentation practices.
- Ensure compliance with the operations of the job following the GMP guidelines of ISO22716.
- Ensure the implementation of the Environmental and Risk Prevention System according to company procedures.
- Education background: High Level cycle in analysis and control laboratory, clinical diagnostic laboratory or similar.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a QC & Microbiology lab performing similar functions, using instrumentation including HPLC and UV-VIS.
- Medium level of English (verbally and in writing)
- Possess strong PC skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience in working under GLP, GMPs (ISO22716), ISO9001 regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization.
