Senior Facility Technician

MISSION
Ensure that all facilities under his responsibility work properly as well as in accordance with current regulations and support the organization in the event of extensions or reforms of the facilities.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Act as the primary contact for facility maintenance.

Lead all maintenance activities ensuring proper execution.

Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.

Ensure that facilities meet current regulations, keeping records needed and attending all audits.

Advise business on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Support the Facility Manager giving advice in case of building projects.

Define maintenance programs ensuring they are properly carried out.

Assist the Facility Manager in preparing the annual maintenance budget.

Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Supervise the team, guaranteeing their effectiveness, development and motivation; fostering Ficosa's values.

Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE and Quality rules, assure they are properly used.

Actively cooperate in the maintaining, promoting and improving of OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**:
Professional training in electricity

**Languages**:
Fluent local language & Basic English (read)

**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years in building maintenance

Minimum of 2 years as maintenance leader

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

**Academic background**:
Certificate in HVAC systems maintenance, water systems maintenance (legionella disease prevention), regulations & standards about building maintenance would be of additional values

**Additional training**:
Knowledge in solid computer, system, HVAC systems, CAD Software or fire protection systems would be of additional values
