Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

**How you will CELLebrate**

As the Technical Assistant to the Head of Quality at PowerCo Spain, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating strategic and operational matters within the Quality Area, including CEO/ COO Office, PMO, Manufacturing, Logistics, Technic & Industrial Engineering & Production System as well as with HR & Finance areas within the company, other PowerCo plants, PowerCo headquarters and VW Group companies. You will play a key role in the planning, build-up, ramp-up and execution of the standard factory Valencia, taking part in the complete project phase of a factory build up. You will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in decision-making processes, conveying instructions from the Head of Quality, and ensuring the smooth operation of operations-related activities.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the Head of Quality by conducting analysis, gathering data, and offering insights that aid in decision-making acting as an executive advisor.
- Assist the executive in prioritizing tasks, projects, and goals. This involves understanding the organization's strategic priorities and ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately.
- Convey instructions and information from the Head of Quality to the first line and relevant departments, ensuring clarity and adherence. Including coordination of the first line of Head of Quality.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team in the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan. This involves aligning short-term and long-term goals and ensuring that initiatives are in line with the overall vision. Play a crucial role in monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, facilitating resolution, corrective measures and recommendation for enhanced teamwork.
- Act as a Head of Quality representative, especially in meetings, negotiations and interactions. Participate in internal activities and external forums.
- Prepare statistics, reports, performance metrics, benchmarks and other synthesized information formats for the Head of Quality decision-making.
- Act as risk coordinator within Quality area, promoting identification of risks, informing and manage employees and collecting risk assessments.
- Support and collaborate in the identification, development and recruitment process for the Head of Quality organizational structure.
- Manage the personal ramp-up necessities and budget for the Head of Quality, including long-term planning.
- Manage and coordinate interns within the Quality Department.
- Assist in the development of relevant policies, principles, and guidelines.
- Support the Head of Quality in meeting planning, presentations, and visitor reception.
- Reporting and handling of local factory related topics within standard factory, participation in committees.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- At least 4 years in a productive area role
- Experience in strategic planning and project coordination
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally
