As a result, we are the preferred brand protection partner for some of the leading global brands and content owners in the sporting, entertainment, fashion, editorial, and software industries, and we've now been tagged as "one of Europe's hottest tech companies" by Wired. **Job Description**: The **Operations director** is responsible for supporting the VP of Operations in piloting the strategy to scale the Operations team as Red Points scales. We are looking for change agents who can collaborate with the rest of Red Points to drive change, exercise influence without authority, teach and train others, and positively affect results. Our focus is on delivering results; not just about completing projects. Duties and Responsibilities: - Works with the VP of Operations in defining the scope, timing and prioritization of projects; - Liaise with VP of Operation to make decisions for operational activities and set operational goals; - Supports the supervision of staff for different teams and provides constructive feedback - Gathers data from various sources to create information, draw conclusions, make decisions, and take appropriate actions (up to and including prioritization and implementation of solutions) - Leads the execution of operational improvement projects, large and small; - Tests process improvement hypotheses and perform data analysis to prove / dispute; - Develops business cases for project / investment go/no-go decisions; - Analyzes and reengineers business processes, with input from management and staff: - Leads the control and monitoring of vendors; - Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation - Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors - Considers & recommends ways to strengthen core Ops team objectives via training, mentoring and feedback - Ensure project execution within defined budget and timelines; - Address questions and concerns of project team, management and other stakeholders in Red Points in a professional and confident manner. **Qualifications**: - At least 5 years of operations management experience - Analytical skills to evaluate data and performance/operations metrics - Excellent inter-personal skills - Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner - Comfortable switch from big picture strategic thinking to tactics/outcome - Ability to plan and presenting to large, senior groups - Fluent in English and Spanish Additional Information* What we offer* - Leaders who care and value the role you play in the company’s success. - A learning culture with individualized development plans that focus on personal and professional growth. - Hybrid working model - A fun and fast-paced Startup environment with cool people, team buildings, and - Friday reduced working time - A sunny office with a large terrace, based in the center of Barcelona - Private health insurance covered by the company - Flexible Compensation - Gym membership to access all DIR gyms in Catalunya and selected YogaOne Centres in Barcelona for a ridiculous price - We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
