Operations Director

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

- ** Production Management**: Supervise and coordinate the production lines ensuring schedules are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Optimize production workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and output.
- ** Warehouse Logistics and Supply Chain**: Oversee operations across the company’s national warehouses ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Coordinate logistics operations for shipments throughout the Iberian Peninsula with a growing focus on international distribution. Develop and implement efficient processes to improve customer service levels and reduce logistics costs. Optimize inventory management and ensure effective resource utilization in a dynamic and fast-scaling environment. Oversee procurement inventory and shipping processes from a financial perspective ensuring efficiency. Optimize logistics costs including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- ** Procurement Management**: Lead the procurement department ensuring alignment with production needs and cost-efficiency goals. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials. Implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
- ** Team Leadership**: Manage and mentor a diverse team of production, logistics, and procurement professionals.
- ** Strategic Planning and Reporting**: Collaborate with senior management to align operational strategies with overall business objectives. Prepare and present operational performance reports including KPIs for production, logistics, and procurement. Identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings within the operations department.

A solid and expanding company in the industrial sector is seeking an Operations Director for its plant located in the Vallés Oriental. As an Operations Director, you will oversee the end-to-end management of production, logistics, and procurement processes while ensuring effective cost management within the supply chain in close collaboration with the Finance and Controlling Manager, Sales Department, and Technical Department. This is a strategic role within a growing international organization, offering the opportunity to lead and shape the operations department, contributing directly to company success. **Minimum Requirements**:
Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a medium-sized company where logistics plays a central role.
Proven experience in managing production lines, warehouses, and logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement strategies with the ability to optimize logistics operations in a fast-growing organization.
Proficiency in ERP/WMS (Warehouse Management System) tools and advanced data analysis skills.
High level of English and Spanish (essential).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and results orientation.
