For our Financial Accounting Operations of Western Europe, we are looking for

An expert who is responsible for the correct accounting of all business transactions into the Financial Statements of selected Bayer companies, in close collaboration with the Local Accounting Partners and other operations as Assets, Payables & Receivables. It includes the implementation of the company's policies and regulations and the support to External/Internal Audits.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Act as main Local accountant.
- Full ownership/accountability: accounting and tax supervision, analysis of FS to detect anomalies, daily/weekly monitoring of operations to provide reliable and fair view of financial statements, ensure the correctness of the delivery for both HB1 and HB2 data).
- Coordinate and support Transfer Price activities
- Cooperation with external consultants, auditors and tax authorities in the countries.
- Support and monitoring during closing for standard activities and direct tax related topics.
- Implementation of standardization measures for financial accounting processes
- Identify risks for critical activities and postings (Tax, HR, P&L), implement ICS controls to reduce those risks
- Use and train data analytics based on state-of-the-art technologies to analyze financial data to ensure data and tax compliance quality.
- First point of contact for the country.
- Support ad hoc projects.
- Ensure compliance both internal and external.

**Who you are**:

- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with 5+ years of experience
- Experience in IFRS and international environment
- Strong stakeholder management
- Very good communication skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Business knowledge or ability to quickly learn
- Ownership and proactivity in getting things done
- Flexibility, as well as the ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills including multitasking skills
